The prettiest walk to the Stampede Grounds - just 5 minutes along the river from our patio to the Macdonald Avenue Entry. Elbow River Camp has been a major part of the Calgary Stampede since the inception in 1912. Experience the cultures of the Kainai, Piikani, Siksika, Stoney Nakoda, and Tsuut’ina First Nations of Treaty 7 in Elbow River Camp. Here you will find 26 tipis to visit, local artisans selling jewelry and art, bannock and saskatoon berry jam, traditional dancing and much more. It's a great way for visitors to experience the First Nations traditions and culture firsthand.
